Dedication.

Readers,

Seems I've had writer's block all week long and so my last minute attempt at a new addition will be somewhat of another "motivational" post. Today marks the end of Week 2 of a 6 week weight training regimen that a friend of mine and myself have started. Coming off a prior 12 week program that provided us unfavorable success, my father shared a link to this new program that has been awesome so far. It's tough but it's working.

Weight training/athletic activity in general has always been a passion of mine because of the physical challenge involved. Lost motivation is common for any fitness fanatic who must set aside time to go to the gym day in and day out. Eating this instead of that. Going to sleep now instead of later. What always helps me is reminding myself why I began in the first place. Personally, it's intriguing how a person can transform their body - literally, it can be done. A lot of people don't even know where to begin because they feel they're too far behind and will never catch up. Not true. Not true at all.

You can. Just by doing small things, like drinking more water. Eating breakfast. A 15 minute walk. Baby steps lead to bigger steps which lead to bigger steps, and so on and so forth. I can personally assure you, by the way, that once you've noticed results, you will be hooked. Henceforth, it will be so much easier to stay dedicated and excited about making these choices.

Of course, this is just an example. What I'd like to know are your passions - what are the activities/hobbies that you enjoy doing in your spare time? If you have any comments or interests you'd like to share, please feel free. I'm interested.
